Fundamentally the dance stack is a four or five way system with sub bass, bass, mid-bass, mid range and high frequency. Equalisation, being an unnecessary evil, is not required.
The purity of the Funktion One design approach completely avoids the usual pitfall of system EQ with its associated phase problems. This purity leads to incredible transient delivery which combined with the sheer physicality and lack of distortion of these systems provides club-goers around the world with the potential for totally involving and pain-free musical experiences.
The organisation and quality of the individual Dance Stack components is unique with different configurations facilitating precise specification and control of bass content and mid-high dispersion. Thick and luxurious super-low bass is delivered in spades by the Infrabass 218 which can be supplemented with the remarkable mating Infrahorn for a huge efficiency boost. Tight and well-defined bass punch is provided by exceptional F215, F218 or F221 enclosures. Upper-bass and low-mid speed comes from the DS15 horn-loaded 15'' device. The DS210/DS310 supplies mid-range and high frequency power and definition to match the exceptional low-end combination.
